VUNET for Design Programmes


VUNET is conducted for the following programmes under the Faculty of “Art & Design”.

Qualifying through VUNET is mandatory for seeking admission at Vishwakarma University, Pune, for the above-mentioned undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The Candidate is exempted from VUNET if the candidate is appearing / has appeared for mentioned National Level Entrance Examination/s - For BDes (UCEED) and for MDes (CEED). Marks (any non-zero score) scored by the candidate (student) in such examination/s will be treated as equivalent for preparing the merit list of VUNET.

VUNET is not applicable to programmes other than the ones which are listed above viz. BA and MA programmes in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Animation and Multimedia.

For BDes and MDes, candidates need to apply for VUNET by filling up the VUNET Application Form and by paying requisite fees.

VUNET is conducted "online" on Vishwakarma University’s own “EasyPariksha” Platform / System in an online proctored mode.

VUNET for design programmes is conducted in 3 parts.


Part I : Design Aptitude Test – On the day of VUNET (10.15 a.m.)



Part II – Studio Test (Perspective towards Design Thinking and Creativity) – On the Day of VUNET @ 12.00 noon

Candidates need to read and understand all / relevant tabs (information items) available on the VUNET Home Page.
On the day of VUNET, Candidates need to follow the steps provided under The tab “Instructions – Test Instructions”.
Candidates need to refer specifically to the listed Do’s and Don’ts before VUNET, during VUNET and post VUNET.
Candidates are suggested to read technical requirements and do the needful accordingly.
Candidates are suggested to take MOCK VUNET to get the look and feel of the test / system / platform. However, the MOCK test questions are of general nature (indicative) and do not resemble with actual test questions.
VUNET results are communicated to individual candidates on their registered email ID within 5 working days from the date of VUNET.
Admission to Vishwakarma University through VUNET is the provisional admission for the said academic year and the same needs to be confirmed on payment of fees on or before the due date and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions of the respective programme(s) and in accordance with the rules of the Vishwakarma University, Pune.
